Ul'dahn born and raised, now a Sharlayan Scholar specializing in the War of the Magi and the calamity that followed. She spends her time diving into Fifth Astral Era ruins and burying her nose in tomes and scrolls. During one of her excursions into the city of Amdapor, Marzi stumbled upon an urn sealed with ancient magics. Not realizing what she was holding, she broke the seal and released an ancient voidsent, losing the ensuing battle and finding herself possessed. Her guide was able to carry her out, unconscious and barely breathing. After the accident, Marzi threw herself into her studies and her travels, trying to find a way to free herself of the voidsent while struggling to keep the monster at bay. She's entirely lost her vision over the years (presumaby from her struggles against the voidsent) and relies on a mammet in the form of a Moogle to be her eyes.~~~~~~~Name: Unknown

Once, Marzi was a veritable ball of sunshine. She's always been secretive about her life before coming to Old Sharlayan, but her cheerful disposition and willingness to help others always made people quickly forget about who she may have been. Since returning from her failed expedition, however, she's become an entirely different person. She's now cagey, skittish, and incredibly suspicious of others. Her fear of the voidsent coming out and hurting those she cares about causes her to isolate, shutting herself away when she isn't out in the field. It takes her an incredibly long time to open up to others now for fear of getting too close.When interacting with others, Marzi is typically very reserved, and is friendly once someone gets past her walls. But in moments of high tensions and stress, her control on the voidsent inside of her can slip and it takes over. The voidsent is brash, quick to anger, and violent.
